17 Millgate is a lovely terraced holiday home in Richmond centre. With three bedrooms, a double with en-suite, another double and a single room, it sleeps five comfortably. The rest of the cottageconsists of a bathroom, kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with spiral staircase to a lower ground floor summer room. Outside there is a tiered garden and parking is nearby on the road or in a car park. 17 Millgate is a lovely cottage for a family getaway.
Accommodation
Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair available. Loading/unloading outside cottage only. Two hour disc parking is available in the Market Place, just around the corner from the cottage, between Monday and Saturday 08.00 - 18.00 hours. At all other times parking is non-disc and free. A disc will be provided by the owners. Alternatively a pay and display car park is 200 yards from the cottage. Spacious, enclosed tiered garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 min walk. Note: There is a spiral staircase inside the property and an external stone staircase leading to the garden. Please ensure care is taken. Note: This property may be unsuitable for very young children, the elderly and the infirm due to the staircases. Note: No stag and hen parties. |

Richmond is a popular town with tourists in Yorkshire, England. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales it is the main tourist centre for the park. It is located not far from Hudswell, Brompton-On-Swale, East Layton, Darlington, Scorton, and Leyburn and is one of over 220 towns and villages in Yorkshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are Ripon (population 16,468), Newcastle (population 189,863), and Leeds (which has a population of 443,247 according to the 2001 Census).
The town of Richmond itself has plenty to offer the visitor, it being described by some as an 'absolute gem', but it also forms a great location to stay for those wishing to visit the Dales.
